Annabel raids her Archives
For over thirty years Annabel has been building a collection of vintage flowers to add to the V V Rouleaux archives.
She has raided those archives to create some fabulously unique hats for this summer at V V Chapeaux.
Milan Mill - Annabel has added a flourish of vintage Sherbet Lemon buttercups on to Black percher. This reminded us of the winning Derby Colours of Mill Reef, whose dam was Milan Mill. A winner from Epsom to Sandown, Ascot to Longchamp.
Jacques's Spray - A vintage Pink Impatience straw blocked percher with V V vintage Pale Azalea blooms detailed with vintage glass bead centres. A naming nod to the great Jacques Fath.
Tuileries Spring - a raised sinamay curved halo with vintage pink and yellow daisies encapsulated with pink veiling. Dress from Constantine Rex.
Carmel's Lily of the Valley - vintage Lily of the Valley bunches sweep around this beautiful Black side percher. A naming nod to the indomitable Carmel Snow, and an elegant look with a dress from Emma Caderni.
Carmel's Bouquet - A rare golden straw hand blocked percher with an abundunce of flowers picked from the V V archives, paired with an Emma Caderni dress.
We created this shoot at the stunning Park Modern development overlooking Hyde Park and a stone's throw from Annabel's first job in London at the old Whiteley's!
Jacques's Bloom - vintage Rose Pink hyacinths and silk roses on top of a hand blocked Magenta straw button. Matched perfectly with a Claire Mischevani dress.
Beauchamp - Lily of the Valley and Rose blooms laid across a beautifully hand blocked Pitch percher combined with a trouser suit from Sarah Kate Byrne give an easy contemporary look at Park Modern.
Ritz Pistacchio - a cascade of Lily of the Valley droplets in Nicotiana Green and a hand rolled linen vintage cocade flower on a vintage Pitch hand blocked percher.
Beauchamp Spray - organdy rose and ribbon petal drops hang tantalisingly from a vintage Pitch jackie.

Cristobal's Bloom - with inspiration from the great Cristobal Balenciaga, Annabel has added some Clotted Cream blossoms to a vintage Slate Percher.
Carmel's Forget me Not - an Old Azalea vintage hand blocked straw percher with some of Annabel's favourite vintage velvet posies of Forget Me Nots. An Emily Shalant dress and shirt create a classy casual shape in a cool interior at Park Modern.
